It was not until late 1960 stereo mixes old-fashioned mono mixes really a new standard and therefore it was not until late 1960 that the Beatles (and their producer George Martin, and their engineers Geoff Emerick) that began to focus on the mix stereo as something other than a thought, after they did to perfection their "real" mix. That is, the mono mix.

The Beatles last three studio albums (Abbey Road, Let It Be, Yellow Submarine &) are not included because they never mixed in mono. Until 1969Mono has been abandoned altogether.
Why are the help! & Rubber Soul, even in stereo?
These two albums contain both mono and stereo mixes are. The stereo mix of these albums were very experimental (for mixing in Stereo was new at that time) and had to be too crazy to be released on CD, when the Beatles were the CD in 1980 led to the first. Thus, new stereo mixes of the album and made newStereo mix, what we have heard on CD since then.
The original 1965 stereo mixes are included in this series for those of us who are curious about how it seemed initially back!
What's On The Master Collection Mono?
All songs of the Beatles, mono original, in their study were 13 original albums in the UK on their mix! You might think this is going only to a collection of songs in less thanit on the album, but this could not be further from the truth.
Many of their biggest successes were never included in their studio albums (like "Hey Jew" and "Day Tripper"). This collection is based on their stereo counterparts, masters of the past. The difference, of course, is that these are the mono versions of these classic songs.
