The Beatles Rubber Soul - the original mono and stereo mixes for the first time on CD

Rubber Soul - an innovative album

Often the point of Sgt Pepper or Revolver album as an innovative (and for good reason), but were not the beginning of their treatment of the Beatles album as "art." Finally, it was inspired by Rubber Soul, that Brian Wilson to create Pet Sounds (which in turn inspired by Paul McCartney on Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band concept to create.)

Rubber Soul is a clear step forward for the band. The songssounded more "serious" than most of their work to date and was the album, the "filler" could be the least (even if the unit "What Goes On").

The mono mix

In 1965, mono was king. It 'was just a way to listen to music at that time so it makes sense that the mono mix was what the Beatles almost all their time working. After the Beatles (along with their producer George Martin and engineer their NormanSmith) would be perfect mono mix, stereo mix would be "put together" are pretty fast, because I do not think it is very important.

The CD version of the Beatles album in 1980

As a remixed the CD format's most important music in the 80s (for vinyl and tape) all the Beatles albums have been remastered (bad) and in two cases they were.

Only a stereo version of Rubber Soul is released on CD (such as Of course, had long mono stereo as the standard way to outdated music.) And it was given the original stereo mix as too "experimental" (or "strange") was re-mixed. This means that neither the original mono or stereo mix from Rubber Soul on CD never officially.

9/9/9

On September 9, 2009 amending for Rubber Soul is released (as part of a phrase) and in its original mono and stereo mixes. For those who> Beatles fans who want to hear this classic album, as originally heard something in 1960, this is a very exciting!
