Pink Floyd's five most essential album

Piper At The Gates Of Dawn (1967)

This was the first Pink Floyd album and it sounds very different from Floyd that most people since 1970. It 's a big reason: Syd Barrett. It 'was the original band leader / singer / songwriter / guitarist and his unique creative genius was the driving force of the band at this time. I love this album. I'm not one of those fanatics Syd, it's better than anything else did (I think, says her 70The work is brilliant as well), but I think it is a truly remarkable album, which is always a place among my favorites.

Meddle (1971)

I am a big fan of "Fearless." And of course there is the epic 23 minutes that is "Echoes".

Dark Side Of The Moon (1973)

It took a bit 'to really find their new voice for Floyd David Gilmour replaced Syd Barrett 1968th Meddle While I love, I think with this albumreally reached the peak era Gilmour. I do not want too many details of this album. After all, is one of the best-selling albums of all time, then you've probably heard of. From my perspective, it is virtually a perfect album.

Wish You Were Here (1975)

I do not think this is as "listener friendly", such as Dark Side of the Moon, but this does not mean it is not necessarily so good for an album. It 's just a bit' more of an investment. Of course notinclude the title song, the well with their most commercial song as possible (without the "Learning to Fly").

Animals (1977)

I think this is more of a "grower" than the other four I've listed here. But if it grows, it sticks. It 's a brilliant album. The band could not really go wrong at this time.
