Listening to the Beatles in High Definition

In September 2009, the Beatles finally released their entire album in remastered CD collection. This distribution of an individual for each album, and both mono and stereo box. While this is good news for audio purists, the versions of these classic albums have since kept up to date, not many music lovers CDs by any means satisfied and we believe that quality is inferior to other available formats. For these purists, and other fans who like their music in digital format, the Beatles also released the USB device from Apple that has the file format in FLAC audio to 24 bits, a higher resolution.

But because the CD is no longer considered the best format? Well, the answer is that the history of digital recording vs analog recording view. recordings that are "similar" to real life, because they are essentially a copy of the sound in analog format, such as a magnetic tape orRecords. As an example of an analog image to get a piece of Silly Putty, a newspaper down the image. You would get a similar picture. It is not perfect, but it is not the pixels, or samples is not in any way. In digital recording, the sound is sampled, that is taken at intervals to measure the sound wave, and this information as data, so that it can be considered later rebuilt. Samples are taken more, more accurate soundplay.

If the CD format was introduced, it was found that a sampling frequency of 44.1 kHz is the standard, this means that the sound wave is sampled about 44 000 times per second. This recovery, economic frequencies exceeding 22 kHz, which is a very high tone of normal human hearing limit of about 20kHz. It was thought that this is supposed to be an upper limit of the range, that nothing is missing from reproducing, andmost people, this is the case, as they are completely happy with CD quality sound.

But for music lovers and fans of analog, there is a feeling that the CD "cold" and not on all the emotional range of music. This claim is without merit. While the frequencies that can collect the human ear drum is limited to a higher level of 20kHz, the human nervous system, apart from the ears register even higher frequencies. The theory is that there is an element of music that is"Wind Chill" and not "heard", and it is this quality that does not exist in analog recording and digital.

The industry has not developed a better quality of the analog format, but it is tempting to resolution and playback of digital audio quality starting to raise concerns about the lack of heat in the CD address. In the case of collection of Beatles Beatles Apple is now the Audiophile USB, that files with 24-bit FLAC. This format is bestCDs, which are only 16-bit resolution, and offer a wide range of digital sound that exceeds normal compact discs. This format, combined with the fact that the remastered Beatles albums were all listening experience offers the best of the Beatles now available.
